This unit complements the Prelude`s audio system equipped with a Compact Disc Controller technology- so you can operate it through the CD tuner controls, eliminating dashboard clutter and simplifying operation. Additional CD Magazines are also available. Six disc capacity allows hours of continuous play. Direct disc selection gives convenient push-button choice of any disc. Direct access and scan functions facilitate selection of any track on any disc. Repeat function automatically replays a selected track. Mix function plays tracks from a selected disc in a random sequence. Three-beam laser pickup with die-cast zinc chassis ensures maximum stability, even on rough roads. 8X oversampling and 16-bit linear system provides audio reproduction for improved sound and clarity. Skip and search functions provide access to any track, or passage within a track. Mounts in trunk hidden from view of passersby. The trunk attachment hardware helps protect against accidental damage to changer's chassis. Silicone-oil dampers further isolate the drive mechanism from bumps and shocks.
